Projects

Transforming the industrial waste into energy Storage Devices

On going projects

The Energy storage group at SET center has been working on a range of strategically important projects, which include:

  • Efficient Utilization of Kingdom’s Industrial Waste (Sulfur) For the Design and Synthesis of Layered Metal Sulfides Nanostructures for Energy Storage Devices

  • Design and Fabrication of High-Performance Flexible Energy Storage Devices via Layer by Layer assembly of Graphene and Ultra-thin Metal hydroxide Films Deposited onto Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes.

  • Design and Synthesis of Layered Double Hydroxides coated Binary and Ternary Nano-Composites for High Energy Density based Stretchable and Flexible Energy Storage Devices.

  • Development of Novel Heterogeneous Recyclable Photocatalyst Materials for Kingdoms Industrial, Agricultural and Municipal Wastewater Decontamination/Purification

SET short track projects
Efficiently utilization of Kingdom’s Industrial Waste (Sulfur) for Energy Storage Devices

At SET center, we are developing low-cost, high-performance functional materials using kingdoms industrial waste for large-scale, affordable storage devices for portable electronics, vehicle electrification, smart grid as well as the broad-scale deployment of alternative energy resources such as solar and wind.
