SET short track projects
Design and Implementation of Smart Grid for Hybrid Renewable Energy System in KSA
This project will introduce modeling and simulation of smart grid integrated with hybrid energy system to supply a standalone load. In this project, a proposed model for each component of generation and load sides will be developed. A new proposed technique to determine the optimal size of a hybrid energy system components based on smart grid theory will be introduced. This project will also develop a real time demand-based automatic generation control framework for smart grid operations using smart technique neural or fuzzy techniques. This framework attempts to help the current outage management system by creating a model that allows an intuitive power demand control analysis under varying consumer demand and cost requirements
